Hardcat的预防性维护软件，用于维护全球范围内的所有类型的操作设备，组件及其部件，场所/项目/主从关系/产品型号/和设备类型。
预防性维护模块的建立在一个可以管理成千上万个别项目的庞大的，可扩展数据库的设备上。
Hardcat能处理从资产初期到后期处置的整个生命周期历史。预防性维护模块能有计划，灵活地针对资产进行完整追踪，对时间和资产数据库的成本进行维护。
用户可以去查看资产或组织资产维护计划的过去，现在，和未来的状态。
维护模块可让用户建立常态或是单次的，普通的任务或模板，并自动创建预定计划的工作指令。工作指令可以按日期或单位信息，或两者的组合来触发。临时的工作指令也可以被执行。
即将或逾期工作订单，可经由电子邮件自动标记发送给相关各方。

Hardcat is in use by A Noble & Son to track over 300,000 items of equipment, each with their own maintenance regime and history. Branded as ‘Tech Inspect’, the system is accessed via the Web and maintenance tasks are downloaded to portable PDA’s for use by field engineers.
The preventative maintenance module now gives the users access to work to be performed out in the field with their smartphone. Hardcat now caters for both Android as well as iPhone phones allowing simple fast processing. The app produced by Hardcat is called Micat.
